I know at least one top Canon Outdoor Professional that would disagree with your take on Raw VS JPG. I just spent ten days with him & all he shoots (with the latest Canon Digitals) is RAW. Recommends it for any serious photographer.
BTW he was impressed that the *ist offered a multiple exposure feature. None of the latest Canons he had came with that feature. He was going to use this info as ammo the get Canon to add in future camera release.
