Where do you get your misinformation, sir. I often crop ... many of the pics I've posted here in the last year or so have been cropped. However, many more photos that I've made have not been cropped. It depends on what I see in the frame when the camera is to my eye and how I envision the final image. Lately I've been seeing things in a 5x7 format, sometime 4x5, and when the standard 35mm frame does not quite fit my vision, so off go the ends. And I'm sure you'll agree (since you mentioned it here at one time) not everything fits or works in a 3x2 format.
As for getting my goat, well, if you want my goat, you can have it.
