"Pops" would be good. I didn't know how I felt about being a grandfather until it happened this morning. When it happened, I cried. I felt like a great weight had been liftted, I felt like I had accomplished something and that a journey was over. It was a very good feeling that will probably remain with me for a long time to come.

Congratulations, Paul. What a nice thing to be .... Grandpa. Perhaps now
we can call you "Pops."

My first grandchild was born this morning in Broxburn, West Lothian,
Scotland at about 3AM. We call her the wee Grace, and she weighed in at
six pounds, eight ounces. Her mother is Kristin Stenquist, late of the
United States, and her father is a certain Scot named Colin Stevens. He
seems to be a level headed, okay chap, although I have never met him in
person. However, he is now charged with taking care of the wee Grace,
and failure to do so will certainly be noted here <vbg>.
