Could it be that Henri was trying to say that sunlight or UV is a
~cure~ for the yellow curse? It has been reported that direct
exposure of lenses afflicted with the Yellow Curse to sunlight (most
likely due to the UV rays in sunlight) will eradicate The Curse.

Cover the back of the lens with aluminium foil, and leave the lens,
front element up, in the sun for a couple of days. Gets rid of
yellow.

I think JCO has reported such successful cures.

I've got a Super Tak 1.4 50mm with a slight but very noticeable yellow
cast. I keep forgetting to put it out, and since today's sunny, I'll
do it right now and report back...
