Ok, this is a zoom. In fact, is a cheap kit zoom. I
won't buy it, you won't buy it... so we may as well
ignore it's existance.
But... it has the quick-shift focus system - which
means, imho, that every Pentax lens from now on will
also have this important (at least for me) feature.
Good news, indeed! Now I won't feel the need for a
certain Canon feature... <happy grin>
