Factory mirror bumper is one piece with a notch for the latch. About 3mm 
thick. The factory stuff is denser than the import stuff from 
http://microtools.com but softer than the US type foam. It was still 
available from Pentax USA a couple years back. However, I have used two 
pieces of foam on ether side of the tab with no noticable problems.
