hi Joao,
I have shopped at two different camera shops in Houston. I don't remember their names but they are both on Richmond Ave. (I think).
Houston is the closest "big" city to me; about 2.5 hours away from here. One of the shops, the bigger one, is not real big on pentax, they are more of a Nikon/ Canon place. The smaller one is more pentax friendly. They aren't too far from each other.

I would also put in a good word for the MZ-S. I have it, and feel that although I'll probably get the *istD eventually, I love this camera, and would probably never need more than what it offers. But definitely get the vertical/battery grip with it.

Hello PDML
It's been a long time since my last posting here, and
I'm glad to see that the mailing list is still alive
and well.
I'm gonna spend a month in Houston/TX next November,
and I would like to know if there is any good camera
shop in the area, as I intend to buy a new camera
(*ist?, MZ-S?).
I have a ZX-5n and I need faster AF and the multiple
exposure capability, so I think that the *ist will be
enough. Anyway I would like to ear your oppinion.
By the way, B&H states that the *ist has Mirror
Lock-Up with custom functionCF-12. What is this?
Best regards,

Joao
