I would love to see this one properly printed and blown up. Sadly, on my monitor at least, the person walking towards us is rather difficult to see. It kind of looks like she (is it a she? I can't really tell) is smiling at us, but it's really hard to tell.
Definitely a 'she.' Any chance that 's Mrs. Cotty? Looks vaguely familiar... Tall, short hair of the right color... hmmm, could be! Yes, I like the shot too. Exposure is spot on. Nice shadow detail, plenty of depth of field.

I suspect that this is due only to the fact that I'm looking at it on a small little 'puter screen.
Other than that, I think (even as presented), this is a tremendous
photo - I'm at a loss to understand why no one's commented on it in
two days (the fact the list's been down for a day is no excuse! <g>). The proportions and perspective are exquisite, Cotty. Great use of
available light. You caught the person just at the right moment.
