No I hadn't seen that. Apparently it's another great lens from
Voigtlander. Perhaps I'll have to get an M body one of these days. I
watched for a 35/1.7 ltm Ultron for quite a while but never managed to
land one. I found a 35/3.5 Leitz Summilux for a very reasonable price
and have been quite happy with it, but I doubt if it's the equal of any
of the better Voigtlander 35s at big apertures. I had a Voigtlander
Ultron 85/2.5 that was very good. But I sold it to help fund my second
*ist D. I kept only Leica lenses: a 50/2 Summicron Collapsible (my ltm
gem), a Hektor 135/3.5 that is truly mint, and the Summilux 35/3.5.
They are sufficient to satisfy my rangefinder urges for now.
