A canon G2 lens resolves 115 line pairs/mm (in my home test) at the
longest setting.
(OTOH, the distortion is a completely different story -- it really sucks)
The 1/1.8 sensor has linear dimensions of roughly 1/3 of the APS sensor.
If Leica zoom lens is anywhere as good as the one in my "old" G2, the sharpness
should be quite reasonable.
