I had to do some digging to get to my SCA3710 manual.
>From left to right the four symbols/switch settings mean:
- First-blind synchronization
- Second-blind synchronization
- Contrast Control
- SB - AF spot measuring beam (This will use the AF assist beam of the flash, without 
activating the flash, the camera will work as if there is no flash in terms of shutter 
speed etc.)

I have the English manual, do you want me to make a pdf of it and send it to you?
