Thanks Fred for your quickly response. For me the street shoot is my favorite so i think 28/2 and 100mm (by the way why not 85mm for portrait) is a good combinaison.
What you think about it ? shen -----Original Message----- From: Fred [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, October 13, 2004 1:31 PM To: Shen Subject: Re: Sondage: fixe Lens for travel > I planned to travel (city, town, mountain) and i don't want take all > my lens. I want to know if you at my place, what you will do (only one > lens fix focal) I wouldn't easily know for sure. If I knew a little bit about what sort of shooting I would be going to do, I'd modify my selection: 1. If I were going to do some scenics, I might choose a moderate wide angle (perhaps an A 35/2 or an A 28/2). 2. If I knew that I'd be shooting some portraits, I might take a Tokina 60-120/2.8. 3. If I knew that I might be shooting wildlife, I'd probably take an F* 300/4.5. 4. If I thought that macro shooting would be called for, I'd take an A 100/2.8 Macro. OR, if I had absolutely NO idea of what I might be trying to capture, I guess maybe I'd take either an A 100/2.8 Macro (for a prime lens choice) or an A 28-135/4 (for a zoom lens choice). Ask me next week, and I'll have different answers... ;-) Fred
