Hard to beat just using a 50mm.  They're cheap to replace should anything happen, easy 
to find, and really good quality for what one pays.  Go wider and landscape shots 
suffer.  Go longer and groups shots suffer.  50mm.

Add a good 1.4x for a lightweight and versatile package.
