Hi Paul,
now you are overdoing it ;-) IT DOES NOT HAVE TTL FLASH. All it has is flesh-o-matic plus matchneedle to balance your flash with ambient exposure manually. Which is still quite good, but TTL flash is something completely different.
About the quality though, I would definitely say that a lot of these fixed lens rangefinders can be way better than 40/2.8 Pancake! Canonet III 17, this Konica, some Olympus... The problem is that some of them had not that good built quality - I can tell you, I have disassembled several. Especially the Olympus was pretty poor in that regard.

Whether Pen F or not, either they weren't designed sturdy enough, or they were fragile. Same thing, huh?
A fine little camera, if you could find one whole and sound in all it's parts and pieces.
