Funnily enough, the only car I ever named was my tow car. It was a big old green ford station wagon that got called "Fordosauraus". It wasn't that bad except in heavy rain, when water would leak in and dribble over the fuses causing random short circuits of things like lights and wipers....

Well, there was one exception. I had a big, grey Dodge van I used to tow the race car. After it let me down the second time in a month, I named it "ED". All caps because it's an abbreviation.
