Cotty, Either you're not Catholic, or you had a real push-over of a priest in the confessional. When I was a kid (and I went in with exactly the same confession each time: "I disobeyed my parents, uh, I didn't do all my homework, uh, er, I lied, and ummm, ah, I think I committed a bunch more venial sins that I can't remember just now..."), our priest ~started~ with decades of the Rosary, and if we were real bad, we had to do several Rosaries. Mind you, that was Quebec, where the Church ruled, and they were (so they thought) in no danger of losing their power, so they could instill the Fear of God and the Church (is there a difference?) into us. Maybe in Jolley Olde England the Evil Papists have a harder sell, and have to go easy on ya, so they don't lose too many to the Anglicans... <vbg> -frank -- "Sharpness is a bourgeois concept." -Henri Cartier-Bresson
