Pentax USA's marketing has always been pathetic, and
lately has been worse than pathetic. Here they have
the istD, the istDS, and a raft of new Optios, and not
even PopPhoto or Shutterbug has a single line of
Pentax advertising. The whole lot of them in Colorado
should join the ranks of the unemployed.
My favorite camera store (Eagle Photo in Portsmouth,
NH--unfortunately 8 hours from Philly!) has a good
stock of Pentax cameras and accessories, and Pentax is
their largest-selling brand. Here in Philly, they are
very hard to find.
