Hi Pat, The 1v's production and distributed supply have momentum enough to carry it for a good while. Unless we have a Canon mole, we may not know of a discontinuance until well after it actually happens. My sense is that ongoing Nikon R&D was pretty much unstoppable and production destined to start. The ultimate production figures will, likely, be a balance of component inventory and budgeted promotional investment. Sales may only last long enough to clean out an inadvertent F6 inventory. or not!
