Since it was a comment by me which started this thread its only fair I offer up some images.
Here's me in early 1978, at the tender age of 23, sporting a classic 'Motorhead' T-Shirt. Hair's not very long, and this was one of the few periods when I was beardless. http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=2814008 Such a cool looking dude, but what's impressive to me is that my hair starts on my forehead, and somewhere on the back of my head like now <VBG> The camera was a Praktica LTL I'd borrowed for an upcoming vacation to Canada. The first real camera I ever used. Here's a shot of me taken on the vacation.
