After creating to PDF file in PS CS and saving it to disk, I am able to

However, it comes up as a full screen presentation in Acrobat 6.0. By
using the Ctrl and "-" keys, the images can be reduced in size. By hitting
"Esc" the slide show stops and the main PDF file becomes available.
However, I cannot find a way to restart the slide show except by quitting
Acrobat and clicking on the file name on the hard disk.

Select the picture with which you want to restart the slide show and then go back to full screen view. The slide show will continue from that point on.

So, can the slide show be started from within Acrobat v 6 or any other
version.\? Can the size of the screen image be set so that it opens at
less than full screen resolution? Can the background of the presentation
be changed from black to another color.

Hmm...that I don't know.
