Is it possible to take normal looking pictures with such fisheye without immediately noticing that the fisheye was used, so no curved lines. Are there any examples of such use ? Pictures ? I could not find anything on the net about this, all the pictures have cheap trick look.
You might get something vaguely normal if you cropped the edges off (or just used an APS-C DSLR) and then applied a suitable correcting distortion in Photoshop. I think I tried this once, and it looked feasible if difficult to get approximately rectilinear results.
