"Anyone try the 28/3.5 shift on the istD as yet?"
I tried my Arsat (Urkainian) 35 mm tilt/shift in shift mode on the D. Result: very little effect. One needs the full 35 mm. frame and the edges of the image to get the intended result. Use only on 35 mm. or full-frame sensor.
