Bwa, I found the free version of neat image can only save jpg files, and not at a very high quality that - after using neat image on my pictures I had no noise anymore, but compression artefacts instead :(

I'll try Helicon next...

Hi gang, First, thanks to all who answered my question. I analyzed my situation, did some more web search and found that's a bit useless to use RAW in a digicam, specially in a damn noisy one like my S5000. I found my 6MP (I know it's 3MP interpolated) are much better, and specially found a great, free soft: Neat Image. If you didn't tryed it, give it a chance. It's very good, you can build your own noise profiles and control the full process. Try it!!!!! Regards
