If you are citing the over-sharpened eye section that you presented the other day as proof of the *ist D capabilities then I'm far from surprised that no one had anything definite or positive to say. Gauging your example against the results that I can produce now I would not have been happy with your result and I don't think it was of any value trying to guess what camera lens combination lead to the creation of the image.
