Reflections of bright lighs showing central symmetry are usually caused by the flat filter in front of the lens. You encounter such problems very often when doing nighttime photography. That was the reason for developing ghostless filters, which are curved.

Thanks Dario. I will miss the informative contributions I was used to see from you. I follow very few discussions on PDML but I understand your feelings as I myself tend to back off as soon as I feel any disconfort because of the exchange style...
