I was feeling adventurous this afternoon and decided
to open up my Viv wide-normal zoom and see if I could
find out why it wobbled near the mount.

First, the black inner part of the mount comes off to
allow more visibility. 3 tiny screws and it pulls
straight out. Then, the five screws around the mount
itself come out (the one opposite the lock-slot is
longer for some reason) and it can lift up, but note
there's a pin and a tab protruding. The tab is slotted
and fits over a pin down in the workings of the lens.
The pin protruding from the mount goes into a slot
right near the back of the lens. Once the mount is
lifted free, a brass-looking washer-like object can be
removed from under it. Then there were 3 screws
holding little metal tabs in place, 2 of those were
loose. I tightened them up, reassembled the lens, and
checked that it all appeared functional yet.

Now I'll probably get more use from this lens now that
it doesn't wobble around like it's trying to fall off.
