If you are referring to the mini-FAQ the contents are based upon a concensous of 
many people on the list over many years. I tried to keep my own views out of it 
except in a couple of places that I think I clearly made the distinction.

I only wrote it up because many of us have said over and over that one was 
needed. I finally decided that, if it was to happen, I apparently was the one 
that was going to have to do it. However, there was quite a lot of input from 
folks here on the list as to the content.
