Thanks, Cotty. I'm not sure if that's enthusiasm, or a grimace from the exertion. Indurain, the last 5 time Tour de France winner before Lance used to have a similar expression at the hardest parts of the course. No one was sure if it was grin or grimace - either way it demoralized the opposition.
