Cesar, you were gone???

My apologies first off to all those queries I have not answered. Things have been to hectic of late. I really do owe myself some time away from everything.
I am going to wade through the plethora of messages that sit in my mailbox.
You will be getting some really late responses - I will try to make most of them off-list to save the bandwith for all of you.
Photographically, still shooting the *ist D quite a bit at the events I attend or tend to. Unfortunately, the demands are such that the immediacy of digital is being forced upon me.
Case in point - I had a car show that I help out with yesterday. I did not take any 35mm gear, but did have my 645n in the trunk. I never had a chance to take it out. What a waste!
There is a good chance that I may be picking up a Minolta Dimage scanner from my local photo store (they have a couple of film scanners from kiosks that they used to have). So, I may be a scanning fool here pretty soon :-)
Sorry for the rambling, just thought some may be interested if I had fallen off the face of the earth. I know there are quite a few messages I have not replied to - and it does not help that the OS of this computer is dying and needs to be replaced. My new notebook will be taking over shortly - when I have the time to set it up...
Keep shooting, I will keep listening in.
Now the threat - I hope to soon be a contributing member to this list,

I can understand why mankind hasn't given up war. During a war you get to drive tanks through the sides of buildings and shoot foreigners - two things that are usually frowned on during peacetime.
