I'm not pleased with the color coming through on my monitor - the green should be a tad greener and the flower a tad less orange. I did the scan from the lesser of two cibachrome prints (the stock agency has the original slide). THe other ciba was a housewarming gift to a friend. When she moved yet again she apologized for not having it up on the wall when I visited her, as the glass had gotten broken. But, alas, she referred to it as my photo of the *strawberries* . sigh. The picture was taken in a friends's flower garden, with tripod, and i was scrunched down close to the ground. I leave showing the front of these poppies to Georgia O'keefe :) no, actually, I've taken tons of pictures of them from the front , as well, but I do like shooting the backs of flowers in general. gee I really didnt ahve to go on about this OF course you have justly gotten lotsa kudos already about your biker - my fave of your bike shots, I think... not sure why, as bike racing holds not particular fascination for me. But it clearly does for your subject. annsan
