Right, but the Sigma EX 18-50mm f/2.8 DC isn't one of the "DG" lenses.
The "DC" lenses *are* APS digital only.

Many people, including Herb Keppler at Pop Photo (in an unusual slight
to the all-important advertisers!) believe it's mostly marketing. They
claim to have improved coatings and otherwise changed the design of the
lenses to minimize internal reflections so as to prevent flare and
ghosting from light reflected off the sensor.
