the catch with the CS browser is that it's not all that flexible about file
manipulation. if you haven't organized your files outside of Photoshop,
working within File Browser isn't going to help you. also, on my system,
Photoshop spends a lot of time rebuilding thumbnails and extracting metadata
even though it has already browsed the folder once before and cached the
images.
