I'm about 100miles south of Edinburgh, near the Roman Scottish border. There are numerous historical artefacts from that period and later. If you want more modern entertainment, there is Newcastle city centre, where people come from all over the country to sample the, er, delights. That includes nice beer, food and entertainment of many descriptions. For nature lovers, there is the Northumbrian coastline and the moors of the North Pennines area of outstanding natural beauty. mike ----------------------------------------- Email provided by http://www.ntlhome.com/
