If someone walks through the door without knocking my dog will attack them.
My wife had a Springer that launched himself at a meter readers face.
The guy came in without knocking, and just barely avoided loosing parts of his face.
Springers are a pretty protective dog, and are big enough to do harm.
That's a big Springer you have.
