Hi Raimo! I agree about the lack of diff. in optical quality, but not about the german all-metal being the same as the later, much lighter, models built in Singapur. It suffices to hold the two bodies in hand to feel the difference in weight, and build quality. the later SE and TE models are both singapur-made, plasticky and light as compared to the original german series. Of course they also got a more accurate metering system (although I prefer the old needle to them, its more fun to use and the camera doesnt have the ugly plastic compartment on top for the new batts)..
