Steve... Funny you should ask this. I have a 285 (non-HV) that measures
8.36v at the foot. I've used this with my ZX-M and MZ-S without ill effects,
but I couldn't find any reliable information on what either of these bodies
can handle without getting fried.

At any rate, I'm selling my 285 kit and switching to the AF360FGZ so I can
take advantage of TTL flash and the other stuff the 360 offers.
