On 7/11/04, Caveman, discombobulated, unleashed: >BTW, could you repost the link to that lens mount adapter you're using ?
Certainly. <http://www.cottysnaps.com/snaps/mods/eoskmount.html> >Or better yet, may I convince you to sell me one of those adapters ? You just picked up an A*85 for 50 Can dollars? Certainly sir that will be exactly 500 bucks. US. HAR! Actually I am having some made at the moment, but I won't have any for spare. You could have one made by this company: <http://www.srbfilm.co.uk/index1.html> by sending them a Canon AF/M42 adapter like this one: <http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ViewItem&category=30059&item=3851235116> and they will machine it and also fabricate a spacer ring as detailed on my page: <http://www.cottysnaps.com/snaps/mods/details.html> Cost excluding postage and EOS/M42 adapter will be in the region of 70 GBP (155 Can) and the chap you need to write to is Ian Broomhead at SRB. The rear of the Pentax lens will require modifying and depending on level of competence used, it may not be able to change it back to K mount without a new part.
