Hello Boris, First let me say that I am a succor for the layered mountain thing. On that count, I love it. The foreground trees offset it nicely. I would be curious as to what the color version looked like. It might give me more ideas about how things went for your first round with the camera. The picture does seem just a tad soft but that could easily be how you processed it.
