Oh, I surely know that, having spent quite a bit of time flagging. At one race I worked last summer, I was working cross track at Turn 7 at Road Atlanta. I was watching a group of cars slap-and-tickle their way through T7, watching for contact and damage, when I hear a THUMP to my right, over by T6.
