Hi Rob ....

A scene like this, which may be gone the next time you come back, is best
photographed from many points of view.  Even subtle changes in camera angle
can make a big difference in the results.  How many different frames did
you shoot?  Burning an entire roll of 35mm film on a scene like this would
not be inappropriate, and with a digital camera, hell, you could fill a
memory card, and in either case automate a contact sheet or slide show in
PS, and take your time editing and finding the best choices.
