the
Nikon autofocus lenses really that much more expensive than Pentax ?

I doubt it. I have the 80-200 and 35-70 f2.8 that i bought used for $900. 00
and $700.00
Canadian,
respectivley. These two seem to be well represented on ebay and store websites.
Even the new versions are a few hundred less thansay a Pentax 80-200 f2.8.
Only thing is when shooting towards the sun. I have noticed the Nikons perform
poorer than
the Pentax
zooms.

Buy a Chev(LOL)I have not had the pleasure of looking at the D70 so no comment.
I have
heard a few
comments from the Nikon BB's i frequent, that it has backfocus problems as did
the D1.

20D is out now. Supposed to have some improvments over the 10D.
