My 2 cents - if you can get by with a print size limit of 8 x 10. Consider
the Epson R800 - pigment ink for long life (seven colors plus clear),
excellent color reproduction, a clear coat for glossies that pretty much
eliminates the difference in reflectance between ink colors, roll paper
adapter for panoramas. An excellent photo printer for 400 bucks.
