You can't. Most general interest news organizations are good at what they are good at. If you want to know what's
happening in science and technology read journals dedicated to the field. Popular Science/Popular Mechanics and other
magazines of that type will beat the best general interest news organizations by at least a year sometimes two. Scientific
American will be 5 years ahead of them, though you might have to read between the lines.


By the way, I was wrong about when the Novel which used man's descent from a coursing hunter as part of the plot device
was published, it was 1987.
