I don't think so, it really depends how critical you are I guess, excluding my 
FA24/2 from my current lens line up it's now my softest lens but it's probably 
the best choice for Pentax. I really need edge to edge sharpness from that 
little *isd D sensor so I'm pretty critical these days. The comment was made as 
a comparison to the A24/2.8 which from my tests is sharper in the corners so 
likely more useful in a single lens kit.
