Okay, my mistake. I figured out how to see the hi-res versions. (You have to click "original.") Yes, the corners are very soft. The DA `16-45 outperforms this lens if that's the best it can do. But I do want to believe that it's good. I'd love to have a great 14/2.8. Perhaps this is a bad sample. I hope so.

The images are the prescribed full sensor res (2008x3008 px) I can't see how
greater colour depth or interpolated pixels will make it any better?
