Your Copper looks a lot like the dog we had when I was growing up--the trees in the background remind me of our wooded back yard, too. It brings back nice memories.
Apart from the dog's less-than-endearing facial expression at the moment of the snap, I think the picture could be improved through cropping or different framing.
