I've bought a Cosina CS-3 with winder and two lenses recently (cheap! |-).
One of them is Cosinon 50mm 1.4, the other one M42 Rikenon 55 1.4 - which I
decided to give to somebody due to M42 and little scratch on the front
element.

Rikenon seems to have much better mechanics and little wider glass diameter
(does it matter BTW?).
Cosinon is newer, shorter but the distance ring has little uneven movement,
turns in opposite side than most of K-mout lenses and rotates only about
100 degrees... :-/

I've found almost nothing on google - can somebody tell if it's
good/bad/xxx lens? I'm still waiting to buy a film scanner and have no
access to the darkroom - so I won't be able to tell what bokeh can I expect
or how is the sharpness full-open...

Thanks in advance

It's better than the bottom of a coke bottle. Well that's harsh. It's an alright lens. Pretty good optics
mechanics below Pentax average.

I can understand why mankind hasn't given up war. During a war you get to drive tanks through the sides of buildings and shoot foreigners - two things that are usually frowned on during peacetime.
