Hello,

Just got a shiny new *istDS, and have a question. My amateur studio
setup has been based on cordless flash sync - ie: When the camera flash
goes off, the other flashes trigger automagically - based on the light
increase.

My problem is that the *istDS does a pre-flash to get the right
exposure. This unfortunately triggers the external flash on the
pre-flash, meaning I don't actually capture the 'off-camera' flash.

This has worked well with my Canon S40 - where you can pre-trigger the
flash and do the exposure, and then take the photo with a single flash
pulse.

Is there any way to ensure the flash trigger only once when taking a photo.

Regards,

Matthew
