Those comments about the fan (and thanks, guys) came from
photo-.net savvy guys who
backed up and snooped around the rest of the folder from
the link above.

I'm really so glad I got on photo.net - should have done
it ages ago instead of struggling with
my own html code and such.  It isn't always exactly how I
would present the shots, but pretty good.

By the way, I scan black and white photos as if they were
color.  on the fan I used "remove color"
but on the ferry it was a straight scan and a little
warmer as result of not removing color.

I don't have any real scientific reasons for doing it, I
just stumbled on that way with my eyes.
