Hi, by coincidence, I received this today. His website has some good 'street' photos. (I hate the phrase 'street photography'.)
"Unfortunately, our booked speaker, Max Cisotti is unwell and will not be able to make it on Thursday. However by one of those rare strokes of luck, Nick Turpin www.nickturpin.com is able to bring a lecture he recently gave to Yale University to us in Max's place. Do check his website there are some superb images on there. 'Street Photography' is a particularly revealing way of sampling the world we live in. It is this belief that led Nick Turpin to leave The Independent Newspaper in 1997 to make candid pictures in public places. In 2000 Nick founded the International Street Photographers Group, in-public. He has lectured on Street Photography this year at Yale, NYU and Tate Modern. On Thursday night Nick will be introducing the work of the in-public group and showing some of his own photographic projects. The meeting is at The Newsroom, 60 Farringdon Road, London EC1R 3GA. Starting at 7pm. Cost 5, students 3, VJ Group members free. Nearest tube: Farringdon (400m walk)." -- Cheers, Bob
